Kristin Holland

Without question, some people are just born to ride. For Kristin Holland, IvanDrago Equestrian Center’s owner and head trainer, you can also say she was born with horses in her blood.

Coming from a long lineage of highly respected horse people, Kristin was literally “raised on the back of a horse”.

Kristin began riding when she was 4 years old and never looked back. She now specializes in developing young jumpers and hunters for the show ring and sale.

Kristin is dedicated, as well, to sharing her skill and knowledge with her many students through her successful lesson program. Her goal with both horses and riders is the same—to bring out the greatest potential in both the rider and the horse.

Most weekends, Kristin can be found either teaching lessons at the IvanDrago Equestrian Center or at area horse shows coaching her students and schooling client horses.

Some of her favorite horse show venues include: The World Equestrian Center in Ocala, Fox Lea Farm in Venice, the Terranova Equestrian Center in Myakka City, Grand Oaks Resort in Weirsdale, and PCHA at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.

And although many of Kristin’s IvanDrago Equestrian Center students show in a wide variety of other rated and non-rated schooling shows, her goal is not to make everyone into “show riders”, but rather “safe riders.” Safety is always of #1 importance.

Over the years Kristin has also built a strong relationship with some of the highest quality equestrian equipment suppliers. She is currently sponsored by Devoucoux Saddles, One Eighty Products and Internation Riding Helmets. As a proud sponsor she is always happy to help and educate her students on all products that can benefit the horse and rider.
