ABOUT US
The IvanDrago Equestrian Center is a beautiful, family-friendly, 15-acre horse farm located directly on the Alafia River in Riverview, Florida, just a short hop from Interstate 75 and U.S. 301. The property is well-shaded by live oaks and features individual paddocks, large pastures, a lighted clay jumper ring, and smaller fenced rings for beginner lessons.
IvanDrago Equestrian Center caters to both hunter/jumper horse owners and horse lovers interested in learning and developing their riding skills on their own horses or on our trained school horses.
Our riding school program, designed for beginner to intermediate junior or adult riders, is taught in a relaxed and fun manner. Emphasis is placed on basic horse care and the importance of communication through developing that special bond between horse and rider.
Our resident trainer, Kristin Holland, teaches a basic balanced seat position to create the proper foundation for the hunter or jumper ring, dressage, or simply confident pleasure riding. As a rider’s comfort level and proficiency increase, our students have the opportunity to demonstrate their talents at local shows.
IvanDrago Equestrian Center is a family-oriented equestrian facility where students and boarders alike can enjoy frequent trail rides and barn get-togethers.
We offer a limited number of full boarding stalls for horse owners interested in developing their equestrian skills and training. Lessons and/or training rides are included in the board, and participation in local and rated shows is available but not required.
Fully customized training board is also available. Whether you need your horse started under saddle, polish up flying changes, introduced to jumping, or need help with behavioral issues, Kristin will work with both horses and their owners to help them reach their full potential.
